I edit personal statements, resumes, CVs, college essays, and job and grant applications. Applying to schools, programs, internships, and jobs requires a specific kind of writing that is both deeply personal and persuasive. I help people uncover their story, present that story in a positive and genuine way, and highlight the good fit between the person and the places they are applying.

I have a master’s degree from the University of Washington (UW), with a focus on nonprofit management and public policy, and a Certificate in Editing from UW. I have taught high school and adult English Language Learners and enjoy helping people figure out the puzzle of English grammar and usage.

I offer two types of editing help:

• Positive boost editorial support: I work with students and young adults with a wide range of learning styles who are looking to build confidence in their writing and who are looking for extra support when applying to schools, internships, and jobs.
